Tuner
A tuner is used to keep your guitar at an ideal pitch. Try the tuner for standard tuning!
Metronome
A metronome is used to count the rhythm, in BPM (beats per minute). Try the metronome tool below to help with timing and work on overall musicality.
Strings
Here is a simple diagram of the 6 strings on your guitar. You can use this acronym to help you remember them: Eddie Ate Dynamite, Good Bye Eddie (EADGBE). You can also use numbers 1-6: 6 being the thickest string (the bottom one in the diagram) and 1 being the thinnest string (the top one in the diagram).

Basic Chords
These are some of the most basic chords that will allow you to play a variety of different songs. The numbers refer to your fingers on the hand that you use on the fretboard to play notes (see the image below the chord chart). With your right hand, you can either strum the strings OR pluck specific ones. Note that you don't have to strictly follow this finger pattern; follow what works best for you!

Fretboard Notes
The fretboard is part of the "neck" of the guitar. It is where you press down the strings with your fingers on different frets (the different segments that you see) to produce notes and chords. Here is a chart with some of the basic notes (recall the 6 string notes EADGBE).
